Social Media & Public Sentiment’s intrinsic value

Hi Everyone.

I’m a writer & was seeing if we could make PancakeSwap an official Publish0x account. (A forum dedicated to crypto content) — and I looked up PCS’s Medium page as well only to notice we haven’t published an article in 2 years?

With the flow of crypto adoption i do think it’s crucial we’re in a position where people new to the crypto world don’t get the impression we’re “some outdated platform that probably doesn’t function anymore”

Looking at it from a client POV that’s the impression I get, the other benefit to revitalizing our Medium would be that it would offer another avenue to not only feature our range of services but provide in-depth guides and updates to the public — reassuring them we are 100% in business and thriving at that.

Ignoring the potential to capitalize on that platform (or any) while competitors use it to their benefit appears unmotivated imo. Mind you we still have 35,000 followers on there. And when our users (or potential users) begin their journey into PancakeSwap it benefits not only the platforms volume/traffic but obviously the $CAKE token as well considering we’re just adding more holders/users.

I’m curious on sentiment —

• if you agree or not as to the importance of this
• it so, is there anything in particular you’d want to see the articles focused on?
• Do you feel an additional resource aside from the websites blog would benefit users?

Any/all feedback is appreciated.
Xoxo, Nico (Pancake Lord)

For our core team reading this —
• If we can have someone either write the monthly Recaps and continue those it will lay out a smoother comeback
• I’d be absolutely open to contributing/maintaining the Medium account. I’m learning to integrate SEO features into my content & have an established record of publishing content.

Thanks for the feedback! We have migrated our blog posts to this website, but should probably highlight that on our Medium page as well

Yeah just for the sake of our public image personally I’d recommend “closing the channel publicly” by letting them know about the new place to stay updated. Again it’ll help new/existing users have confidence we’re still operational but also bring at least a portion of that follower count over to here

At the least it provides a user that is lost in the right direction for help / forward them here to stay in the loop. Medium (at least in US) is very often one of the first available options after googling many inquiries.

Ultimately it’s up to yall- I don’t mean to sound like I’m complaining over semantics so my apologies. Just recommending it as a new Pancake Lord (I’ve been working web3 public image/PR for some time now haha)
