Overview

  • After the deployment of SDT on BNB chain and of a v3 pool on PancakeSwap, we would like to make the SDT/BNB (0.25% fee tier) eligible for a gauge on PancakeSwap.

Background

  • Stake DAO is a DeFi protocol focused on liquid staking of governance tokens.
  • sdCAKE and its airdrop campaign is one of Stake DAO’s most popular products and helped locking more than 1 million CAKE since the launch of veCAKE
  • Stake DAO is one of the most serious supporters of PancakeSwap and the veCAKE upgrade with two products built on top of veCAKE: sdCAKE and Votemarket
  • SDT, Stake DAO’s governance token, has been deployed on BNB chain to enable users to benefit from the full range of services it offers. We want to make PancakSwap our main liquidity avenue.

  1. Boost Multiplier and Emission Cap % : 1x / 0.5%
  2. Audits: 🔐 Audits – Stake DAO Documentation
  3. Token Utility: veSDT allows users to boost their voting power on various protocols (Curve, Balancer, Frax, Pendle, etc.) and soon on PancakeSwap, allowing them to increase their bribe revenue.
  4. Volatility: SDT is a governance token with normal volatility
  5. Oracles: no oracle is used by Stake DAO
  6. Control: currently a 4/7 multisig including doxxed individuals. Soon an onchain governance contract (it has been voted but is being implemented)
  7. Merit: Beyond being the only trading pair for SDT on BNB Chain, it will help increasing the lock rate of CAKE.
