# Transfer the SDT/BNB DefiEdge Gauge to Bril vaults

## Overview

- We propose enabling the two gauges of the vaults managed by Bril for SDT/BNB and BNB/SDT.

## Background

- SDT/BNB 0.25% fee tier already had a gauge enabled for the DefiEdge position manager
- Since DefiEdge ceased its position manager activity, we will stop incentivising this vault and would like to invite users to migrate to a new position manager vault by Bril
- We therefore propose enabling the two gauges of the vaults managed by Bril

## Details

3. **Token Utility** : veSDT allows users to boost their voting power on various protocols (Curve, Balancer, Frax, Pendle, etc.) and soon on PancakeSwap, allowing them to increase their bribe revenue.
4. **Volatility** : SDT is a governance token with normal volatility
5. **Oracles** : no oracle is used by Stake DAO
6. **Control** : currently a 4/7 multisig including doxxed individuals. Soon an onchain governance contract (it has been voted but is being implemented)
7. **Merit** : Beyond being the only trading pair for SDT on BNB Chain, it will help increasing the lock rate of CAKE.

Thank you for your application! The Kitchen has enabled the SDT/BNB (0.25% fee tier) and BNB/SDT (0.25% fee tier) ALM gauges from Bril Finance on BNB chain with 1x boost multiplier and 0.5% emissions cap.
